Fashion Revolution, the premier fashion activism movement, has released the dates for Fashion Revolution Week 2024 and this year it coincides with the organisation's momentous 10th anniversary. This landmark event will be from April 15th to April 24th, 2024, featuring a dynamic ten-day campaign brimming with locally-driven initiatives worldwide.

At the heart of the 2024 campaign is the theme "How to be a Fashion Revolutionary." Drawing inspiration from a decade of advocacy by the global community. This theme delves into the essence of revolutionary fashion, exploring its pivotal role in advancing social and environmental justice. It seeks to redefine the contours of fashion activism for the future, showcasing insights from community builders, innovative thinkers, and organisers who will inspire the next wave of Fashion Revolutionaries.

We stand at a critical juncture, confronting the urgency of the climate crisis while witnessing transformative shifts within the industry. Over the past decade, sustainability has permeated mainstream consciousness, with a burgeoning number of individuals considering the impact of their clothing choices. This groundswell of awareness is mirrored in the exponential growth of the Fashion Revolution community, which has tripled in size over the last five years. Moreover, this cultural awakening is reinforced by a wave of forthcoming legislation across the EU and USA aimed at regulating the fashion sector once and for all.

We teamed up with a small, family-run factory based in Wenzhou City, China. We chose this factory because the owners resonated with our ethics on both a personal and a moral level. As a company, we strive to give opportunities to independently run, small businesses (like us!) where each employee is treated with respect and is counted as more than just a number. Since the successful launch of our very first skull tote bag in the fall of 2019, we have continued to build and develop our relationship with this factory, with Tina taking the lead role in production.
