Xander Kostroma Suncatcher for a "Tween Girl's Bedroom" with finnteriordesigner.com

Today I’m super excited to share with you that, we were mentioned by Finnterior Designer. They have transformed a tween girl’s bedroom into a modern bohemian oasis that features one of my signature products: the ‘Salute to the sun’ Crystal Airplant Suncatcher.

The girl’s parents contacted Finnterior Designer to help them redecorate their daughter’s room as she was growing out of her old furniture and decor. They wanted to create a space that was cosy, stylish, and functional for a 12-year-old girl who loves reading, drawing, music, and nature. Finnterior Designer contacted me to join her on this project as she had spotted my suncatcher that she thought would work perfectly for this room. I was thrilled to have one of my crystal suncatchers featured!

They decided to go for a modern bohemian style with a soft pink and grey colour scheme, accented by pops of mustard yellow and green. They wanted to create a warm and inviting atmosphere with lots of texture, pattern, and light. They also wanted to add some personal touches and whimsical details to make the room feel more like her own.

Finnterior Designer created a desk area with shelves and cork boards from IKEA, where the girl can do her homework, draw, or play on her laptop. The desk has plenty of storage space for her stationery, books, and accessories. The corkboards are great for displaying her drawings, photos, and notes. Some prints and posters are on the wall to inspire her creativity. It was in this space where my crystal suncatcher was featured.

The "Salute to the sun’ Crystal Airplant Suncatcher is gold-plated and features crystal pendants to finish. The idea is to place it close to a window, so the beautiful crystals can reflect light around the room. It works well in north-facing rooms (if you're adding an airplant as the strong sun can damage the plant) however, I think it looks also gorgeous just by itself. I designed this suncatcher with the intention of bringing some positive energy and harmony into the space and I think this room has achieved that.

Let me know what is your favourite crystal in the comments?!

Love, Xander
