Lapis Lazuli (or Lazurite) crystal is one of the oldest gemstones in the world. It’s a wonderful dark blue-coloured stone which is mottled with white (calcite) and gold tones (pyrite). This stone was known to the ancient Egyptians as the “Sky Stone” and was often found in their jewellery. The stone is associated with the 6th chakra or third eye, is thought to enhance wisdom, inner vision and mental clarity and is said to enhance the feeling of self-acceptance.
